Seed of the Dead Review (Steam AO Games)

The FPS is a genre usually neglected by the adult game industry. However, TeamKRAMA have avoided the usual adult dating simulator and have gone on to develop the hottest FPS you’ll ever play! Seed of the Dead offers a lot more than just rhythmic sex mini games, so…could this be the AO (Adult Only) FPS game, you’ve been waiting for?

Seed of the Dead begins as 3 beautiful heroines rescue you from certain death. Unconscious after jumping down from harms way, these battle babes introduce themselves to you and bring you in as one of their Z butt-kicking clan (yup, Seed of the Dead referrers to Zombies as ‘Z’s’ not only for abbreviation, but due to the fact that it’s used to signify ‘the end’). Classic date-sim style art and text boxes are used to progress the story, as you and these gun-wielding beauties will fight wave after wave of Z’s and other gruesome (and very horny) monsters.

Even during a Z apocalypse, you’re still the luckiest man in the world!

Once you’ve been made a lucky member of this sex party, you soon discover that you’re able to cure wounds and even the virus itself (for both yourself and the ladies) by simply having sex with them! This becomes the main mechanic in this hot FPS, as whenever the ladies (or even you) are low on health, simply approach them, press the ‘F’ key (nicely done TeamKRAMA) and you’ll be treating them to a hot bounce, or some lustful doggy, in no time!

However, you’ll need to be careful though, as you can still be hit (and take damage) during sex (nudging the screen and sex-meter, throwing you off your perfect thrusts to fully re-heal and add buff armour to the beauties). This adds another element of strategy to the game, as you may need a certain amount of health in order to fuck-rescue a heroine (especially on harder difficulties).

How does this AO FPS play?

Remember those ‘kill the wave’ zombie games that took mobiles by storm a few years back? Well, this is pretty much how Seed of the Dead works, and that’s not a bad thing (it clearly allowed the team to work more on the sex!). Weapons are based on real arms (our favourites were the SMG 90, AK47 and Spas-12 shotgun) offering good design and realistic sound. The basic shotgun isn’t much to look at (the design is a bit narrow with an odd grip model), but the Spas-12 model (or Shot12 as it’s called in the game) greatly improves on this, looking awesome and packing a satisfying punch when you let rip into a horde.

Aiming on the other hand is a little sensitive by default and right clicking to aim down the sights doesn’t really help (only really useful with your default handgun when you’re in a tight spot) but most of the weapon designs are faithful to the real thing (which we always love with an FPS). You can even hurl grenades at the horde (simply by pressing the ‘G’ key) and being as it’s wave-kill gameplay, you’ll always have a bat-blade and an unlimited round handgun, to fall back on.

During each wave, you’ll need to kill hordes of Z’s and other monsters. Allow the heroines to take too much damage (to the point where they are totally naked) and the horny Z’s will begin to fuck them! The Z’s will glow with a red outline (letting you know one of your heroines is at the mercy of a horny Z!). When you see this, you have to take them out quick (during this period, a death-gauge will replace their health bar and it will gradually fill as they are fucked hard by the Z’s!). Leave the heroines to get fucked for too long and a kill scene will take place. This will then see the horny Z’s and monsters give intense sexual pleasure to the heroine, then leading to their gruesome death!). There are several kinds of ‘Kill scenes’ and we have to admit, this is the only FPS where we’ve enjoyed a Game Over screen!

Each kill scene is a porno cocktail of horror and eroticism, and you’ll soon be wanting to see them all! The early stages will see the hot heroines enjoy huge cock Z sex, Z + Monster spit-roasts and more (it gets more hardcore and devilishly shocking as the game progresses).

Seed of the Dead (Steam Adult Only release) – The Verdict

The story may be simplistic here (you’re protecting and fuck-healing the heroines as you all push forward to safety and possibly a sexy answer to the Z-virus cure), but we really enjoyed how the story altered half way through, from wave-battle, to classic FPS progression and back to wave-battle again (with some really cool looking cave and secret lab levels…complete with a freakin’ lightsaber!). They’ll be no spoilers here, but we can tell you that while the story does seem rushed to a close, the end-game is very hot and sexually satisfying to both the main protagonist and the player!

While the game may lack certain elements from your much-loved AAA FPS (only one or two weapons are worth using sights with and there is no crouch for more accurate aiming), Seed of the Dead is easily the most fun we’ve had with an adult game so far. Protecting the heroines from the monsters, healing them and having that guiltily pleasure of watching the Z’s fuck the shit out of them! (especially those hot kill scenes) just adds to the overall fun and horror of this intense AO FPS game.

One big question for adult game fans (and newcomers), would be ‘is Seed of the Dead censored’? The answer to that would be that at the time of reviewing, yes it was (and we’ll be in contact with TeamKRAMA on when such a Steam-friendly patch will be released). However, unlike most adult games, this honestly doesn’t seem to hinder the eroticism at all! Trust us, even with the odd blurred-out cock, Seed of the Dead is as hot as hell and with some solid fundamentals in place (well worth the £5-£10 asking price), we can’t wait for TeamKRAMA to develop a follow-up!
